The Boathouse at Avon Tyrell

“The Boathouse project at Avon Tyrrell is a timber clad eco-friendly building with a green living roof, created by Organic Roofs. The design fits in with the natural landscape of the estate and houses hybrid solar photovoltaic panels, to provide improved facilities for young people and accessibility to those with disabilities.”

Valley Drive

“A green roof was the obvious answer when we had to repair our derelict garage, and Organic Roofs helped us with it from the design phase to its construction. With a plant mixture of lavender and grasses along with the usual sedum, this gives insects a variety of nectars. And we have a visually exciting ‘landscape’, both from street level and for our neighbours, whose windows overlook what had been a dirty and weedy asphalt desert.”
