In the past, green roofs were common on pitched roofs. Turf sods, sitting on birch bark, would be kept in place by logs placed at the eaves. Simple engineering for simple problems, with a beautiful appearance.

At Organic Roofs, we try to follow in these footsteps – embracing the engineering challenge and helping clients grow plants where they’re not normally expected. We’ve developed our own solutions to keeping all that material in place, and we even won a national award for it in 2015. Find our more on our case studies page
