Winners, Green Roof of the Year 2015

Thanks to everyone involved, including Hertalan UK and Wildflower Turf Ltd. It was a collective effort, especially as the original design needed significant adjustment to enable it to work.

The final design features our innovative SHEARSTOP anti-subsidence system (which was created for this project but has subsequently been successfully employed on a number of other pitched green roof projects)
With locally-relevant planting designed to provide food sources for the locally rare Wood White butterfly as well as other pollinators local to the New Forest, we really hope this award helps encourage clients and designers to push the boat out and invest in architecturally interesting green roofs designed for ecological enhancement.
